Autumn Yard Studios

Autumn Yard Studios is a joint venture between Sam Clark of Moro and Morito and Nina Tolstrup of Studiomama.

The converted warehouse is an exciting ‘raw’ canvas of space – with studios for creatives, designer-makers and start-ups.

‘We wanted to create the kind of space we would want to work in ourselves and to establish a community where people can set up businesses, collaborate, build relationships, and feel connected’.

The story behind

Upon our first visit to this warehouse, we were immediately drawn to its raw, open space and its stunning location by the river. The creative community in Hackney Wick was flourishing in one of London's most diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods.

After acquiring the warehouse, we embarked on a light restoration process to retain the warehouse's original industrial past. We re-used materials and implemented sustainable solutions wherever possible throughout the restoration. We are proud of the outcome and believe Autumn Yard Studios is the perfect place for start-ups, design practices and creative businesses to thrive.
